Xbox One controllers can now be used to play PC games, Microsoft has confirmed.
Download links for the PC drivers can be accessed by visiting Major Nelson's blog. The drivers will also be available as part of an imminent Windows update.
PC support for Xbox One controller has arrived. The drivers are currently available through the Major Nelson blog, but will be part of a Windows update in the near future. They allow users to plug in the Xbox One controller via MicroUSB, and play any game that had supported the Xbox 360 controller previously.

After downloading the drivers, users can connect Xbox One controllers to computers through a micro USB cable.
'We know our fans have wanted PC compatibility,' Major Nelson writes. 'And we know they wanted to be able to use the Xbox One controller with the same games and applications they have been playing with using the Xbox 360 controller.

Compared to its predecessor, the Xbox One contains more than 40 improvements, including miniature rumble motors, smaller thumbsticks and a redesigned D-pad.
